Oil Filter

Ordered a Purflex oil filter , received a Mahle do they have the special valve like the Purflex do?

IIRC they do, used load of them without any issues

Cool noticed the oil pressure shot up nice and quickly , just need to change the sump plug and washer leaking slightly it does look pretty old and fubared its probably the original.

Quick question, When looking through a few blogs I've seen smaller oil filters used, they look like renault ones, this seems like an ideal solution to my clearance issues. Are there any problems with this?
