Best Way To Pull Torsion Bars Out

as title says whats the best way really was going to hit mine in the way but found out 205 ones have to be pulled out done have a sliding hammer and was told a bolt through a socket is quite easy to snap the bolt any help would be great :)

i bought one of Tom Fentons special extractors. i have used it twice now with 100% success. all yours if you want to borrow it .

yeah that would be great would save me alot of hastle coud i come get it on saturday?

guinness :o

 

a press would be ideal, but the tool is here if you want a shot. its just a posh socket and bolt , but works for me. Saturday should be fine.

I made a puller following the same design as Toms and it's worked fine for me as well.

I take the trailing arm off, but it in the vice and then BFI the thing out with a big hammer and suitable drift.
