Sorrento Green Gti's

I remember someone saying that the paint when being mixed actually contains more black than green...

Years ago a friend of mine bought one and thought it was black and was very confussed as to why the V5 said it was green, the guy selling also advetised it as black,haha....

Laser Green is by far the best green,

and IMO the best colour.

I agree with that aswell, just a shame I couldn't find a decent one when I was buying.

The green interior is refreshingly different though so its worth it. Its a little more classy...

When my mate worked at a paint shop, we mixed up a couple of 205 colours to see what colours they contained. IIRC Sorrento was mainly black, a bit of green and some white pearl.

I reckon they were just a toned down version of the GTi for the older generation. Didn't have a bright red carpet in your face!!! :)

Ah thats the reason I prefer Miami & Sorrento then.

My dash (all grey) has black rotating controls for the fan, air direction and heater, is this right?

Me neither. They seem to wear really badly too.

So it looks like those limited edition Sorrento's and Miami were available only in UK. After this Peugeot start selling those colours everywhere else in Europe but with half leather seats, green carpets and black dash.

This thread was supposed to be about Sorrento Green but it appears to me that the main colour on this thread is the green of envy :)
