Seats Very Low

half leather 1.9 92, seems like im sitting in a bucket is there something that breaks near the rear of the seat . i normally like them low but this makes it harder to press the clutch in ?

I remember my 1.6 i had with a [grey harder wearing cloth than normal] was to high and very unsporty but this ones the opposite ,,,, is it meant to be like this? cheers

There are usually some black plastic spacers to raise the subframe away from the carpet. They may not be there...

They are not massive though..5mm thick maybe

seat base has collapsed I reckon, either that or the fixings have come apart, best replace the seat or you'll suffer back problems.

Sometimes the "mesh" that the seat base sits in can breakaway from the frame, sounds like yours could have done that.
