1.6 Overfuelling

So after changing my TPS and ECU temp sensor, I am pretty sure that the car is now using an acceptable amount of fuel (surprisingly good mpg actually!)

 

However it does still stink of unburnt fuel, especially when you turn the ignition off and get out. Had it checked at a local garage yesterday and he pointed out that all the figures are way out from what they should be and that it needs setting up so think I will be replacing the cap, rotor arm and maybe leads before dropping it off for some fine tuning.

 

He also pointed out that my dizzy cap has been damaged so hopefully that will sort out my occasional missfire problem.

 

Hopefully the car will be a dream after this work, she has been brilliant lately and in a way it is quite nice to know that she isn't even at her best yet!
