Recommended Posts

MrG

Is it two bolts at the front and 1 on each side or are there more hidden?

two 13mm bolts behind the bumper under the lights and yes two sh*tty ones in the arches that always tend to snap.

It will be better for you if they snap as the ends rotate and wreck your bumper if you are not careful. The new bolts are not dead cheap though

I would get a big breaker bar on a socket and tighten them so they shear. The front ones sometimes come off in one piece. Try plus gassing them and also wire brushing the threads before trying to remove.

I've said for a fair while I just do them up to shear them off if they are rusty and don't look like they will come off.

This backfired in my face once when it ripped through the bumper, to be fair it was already damaged at the mounting point so I blame that.

Correct answer to q: How do you remove bumper? is with a angle grinder as if not removed before all the bolts are rusty
