as much as i like the smooth rear panel, and i did do it to my graphite gti years ago, i think the slats are one of the distinguishing features of a gti and really need to stay. Even more so on a PH2, when clean and sparkly the contrast of the black against the red with the 205 gti badges look incredibly sexy.

Keep the slats, look much nicer, As pugnut said, really is a defining feature of the 205!

That is quite an ironic view when you think the very top of the 205 range had/has a smooth panel

I think its because in day to day life the only 205s I see with smooth panels are the ones that are quite low in the range

Currently bringing my trim back to good colour and the black against the red with red insert is just so nice!! .... and i'm sure the rear panel will look mint!

Is the dimma one still available? I like that alot as its 3 bar same as the T16!

 

If not then I do like them without the slats as it easier to keep clean, the black grille looks ok but has to be the late black one not the early grey as that looks cr@p
