Fitting A Mi16 Hub/disk/shock Setup To A 1.6

Recommended Posts

pugpete1108

i have a set of hubs/disks/callipers/shocks and driveshafts from the mi16x4 i broke in the garage.

will these bolt straight on to my 1.6 setup?

at a guess i would say the only snag would be the driveshafts? as i'm not sure if they differ from std gti ones?

obviously as long as they fit on 1.6 wishbones. or would i need 1.9 ones.

just a thought...

would they make a good upgrade to 1.6 units?

All different!

The hubs are different in the fact they effectively have the BJ attached, rather than on the wishbone, not to mention the wrong offset, as are the brakes, & the shafts are way too long!
