The offset is different on the 15" Mi16 alloys - ET29 compared to ET19 on a 205 15" alloy.

so would need 10mm spacers to be th same fitment then and stop rubbing on the inner arches/struts?

yes 10mm spacers would be needed to make them the same offset as 1.9 wheels, but they may well fit straight on without, I did get some ET28 Ouragans/nimrods on my 309 without a spacer on the front and they are half an inch wider, the rear heels did have wider tyres and needed a 5mm spacer to clear.

if its 1.6 hubs on there even more chance they'll fit without spacers

I'm running 10mm spacers on the front and 3mm on the back on a 309 beam, which does come close to the arches but is fine.

i can also tell you, they do fir on 1.6 front hubs but need spacers (10mm) on a standard 1.6 rear beam
