Omex Rev Limiter And Launch Control

I am looking at fitting one of these to my car but not sure whether to go for the omex set up or a different brand. Please can i have your opinions on what you think and what other options are around please. Secondly who is best to get it off please

I have the std OMEX rev limiter and it works very well for me, but I didn't bother with the launch control, can't see the point of it for my application!

A rev-limiter won't help a mechanical overrev condition from a botched downshift - if you change down too early (or go from say 5th to 2nd) and lift the clutch, the engine will overrev regardless, even with the ignition switched off.

 

All a rev limiter will do is prevent you accelerating the engine under its own power beyond a given point.

but in answer to your question, yes I found it an easy install.
