Hi, found out last night that the cat on its way out. Took it if off, and can here bits in side, although dont seem to have fully disintegrated just yet.

PUG want £460 :D

Been looking at the jetex\ sports cat.co.uk option £250 , but found some from React (euro car parts)£215 both stainless sports cat 200 options, and Bosal oem replacment at £140.00( Parkers). Found some for less, but dont think they will last.

Prefer a stainless option as never likely to buy another .

Anyone had any good bad experiences?

Is it worth getting a new lamda at same time?

Cheers puggers

ps no decat-/etc post Aug 93 car.

This won't make a difference as the insides will still fall apart. I'd normally just buy a high flow aftermarket cat from a bigger car from the local exhaust shop. You can't do the same? Or else, just shake out the junk and weld the empty case back on.

All the cheap ones don;t last at all long and generally reduce performace + Don;t fit well to the extent I;ve given up on ECP ones, I;d just get a Sport's CAT from a good exhaust place and use that, Pretty cheap too
