Hi Markw,

I'm on one with this stuff myself at the moment for our project car.

Follow the link I've attached and you will find a calculator which requires you to input a few bits of info and will return the injector size that you want.

As a note, I would stick with the 80% value on the duty cycle parameter.

All the best

I'd be tempted to use 8v rods. You'll see why if you read some of the recent threads discussing oil surge; I think one was started by Jrod.

I will be doing this on all future XU9J4 builds.

I fitted Bosch 305cc 'red' injectors brand new when I built my mi16, they gave me a little room for expansion and have served me very well - originally to about 190bhp spec in the 1.9; now running to 250bhp in an S16. Didn't bother faffing around with recon'd ones - just bought brand new from Aus (www.injectorsonlines.com); cannot recommend highly enough. 70 aussie dollars each - about £42 :)

Think i was using audi 1.8t injectors on my old mi (230bhp) sandy said these would be spot on so you may want to look at these.

There are loads of modern injectors suitable for the kind of power you will be aiming at, all available for buttons second hand.

Some mentioned above, plus Rover Tomcat turbo, Saab turbo, Audi turbo, basically anything that makes between 200-250bhp will most likely do the job nicely.

I'm using Audi 1.8t injectors, Think they're 360cc roughly (did find out when i sourced them) Used Volvo t4 injectors in the past too, basically the same thing. good for 270bhp safely.

Hi Sidways,

Been doing some sums and I reckon your motor will reliably cough up about 220hp using a set of 360cc injectors. Its only a rough calculation using the info at the begining on your engine.

All the best
