Peugeot Parts

I went to peugeot dealer today to see if i could get a couple of parts. I wanted the oil temp sender for sump but the guy sempt to think the sender doesn't have any wires on it?

I told him my wires had been cut on the original sender I gather he presumes a connector goes onto sender but I am sure when i had a breif look it was two wires coming out of sender no connector on it, the part number he gave me for this was 024281, anyone confirm this?

Also wanted the the handle type thing on the sunroof where the 2 seals are that go through it as mine are leaking but couldn't for the life of us find this on the parts screen sempt to be only a full sunroof kit which was like circa £100! anyone know part no for this if you can get it?

thanks :(

if its an 8 valve gti after 1 august 93 then that is the correct part number, before then it was a larger thread which would appear to be part number

0242 50 SENDING UNIT DIAM 16X1,50-140 DEG

they do not have any attached wires, just a small M3 stud and a 7mm af nut, single wire.

the handle seals look to be 6948 75 PLAIN WASHER 10X15-1,5

if the nut that goes on top of these is damaged they are 8424 19 MOTOR NUT

and the screw and washer are 6912 82 SCREW CBLX RDL 4X70-16 and 6946 52 PLAIN WASHER 4X10-0,8

I have to ask. Is "sempt" some sort of northern slang word?

I have to ask. Is "sempt" some sort of northern slang word? ;)

I got it, so it must be Steve mi old cock sparrow!

Another nice northern word is "Tret" which is the past tense of "treat"

Northern Lass: "He tret me reight good he did and always bought mi chips!"
