Boot Light!

Okay, quick question, where is the door pin that turns the light on in the boot? Mine stays on all the time and flattens the battery. I took the bulb out so it doesn't do it anymore. One of those little problems i want to fix on my GTi...

Its a tilt switch behind the back panel of the boot, left hand side

The trim attached to the boot lid covering the wiper motor? If it's behind that, it would explain why i can't see it!
