Im not sure you can use the 1.9 arm with the vts clutch as its a pull release clutch and the 1.9 one is a push type :D

You can use the Vts set up but Im not sure on what cable you need, most use a 1.9 Mi16 clutch, but I think you have to change the release fork to the 1.9 one.

id like to keep the clutch set up, maybe ill try and test a few push ytpe cables ones then, unless a knew everythin involved to make it work with a different type cluth.

taylorspug has the pull type i believe, check his project thread.

The fork will need to be changed to the 1.9 one if you are using the mi16 push clutch.

On my setup I'm using the standard 205 clutch cable and have no issues with it.

you can use the 306 pull cable with a BE3 pedal and complete VTS/GTI6 pull clutch and release arms, or a much simpler way to do it is to use the 1.9 MI/BX16v clutch, standard push type BE3 (or BE1) release arms and standard 205 cable.

a think ill stick to the pull type then, is there any thread available in which someone out there has kept the full coolant system aswell, im using a 106 gti/saxo vts radiator so a dnt have to go messin around wiv the coolant pipes, even though all my old 8v ones need replacing. seen as the gti/vts rad has already filler bottle built in.
