Couple More Wiring Questions Please

Im getting there lol promise i'll stop posting these questions soon im still wiring up those brown multiplugs and have a couple of q's left please

 

from the engine loom i have:

 

10 pin brown connector

should be

1. Reverse light (wire 52, brown)

2. Reverse light (wire 53, purple)

3. Coolant light (wire 47, yellow)

4. Coolant meter (wire 47a, red)

5. Alternator (wire 7a, brown thin wire)

6. Oil pressure meter (wire 30, lilac)

7. Oil temp meter (wire 30a, white)

8. Oil pressure light (wire 30b, grey)

9. Switched positive (wire 2, light blue)

 

actually is

1. Reverse light (wire 52, brown)

2. Reverse light (wire 53, purple)

3. Coolant light (wire 47, yellow)

4. wire 7a, red

5. wire JA, brown

6. Oil pressure meter (wire 30, lilac)

7. Oil temp meter (wire 30a, white)

8. Oil pressure light (wire 30b, grey)

9. Switched positive (wire 2, red) + wire 32a, yellow

 

6 Pin Brown connector

should be

1. Coolant fluid level (wire 47b)

2. Fuel pump (wire 76)

3. Coolant fluid level (wire M47B)

4. RPM meter (wire 112)

5. K-Light (wire 74)

6. Starter motor (wire 46)

 

actually is

1. empty

2. Fuel pump (wire 76, beige)

3. earth (wire M, yellow (thick) w/ green flecks)

4. RPM meter (wire 112a, grey)

5. empty

6. Starter motor (wire 46, blue)

 

from the fusebox/car loom to plug into this i have:

10 pin plug:

brown #52 (Reverse light)

purple #53 (Reverse light)

white #47 (Coolant light)

blue #47A (Coolant meter)

green #7A into pink #7A

red unnumbered

white #30A (Oil temp meter)

yellow #30B (Oil pressure light)

red #2 (switched positive)

 

6 pin plug

??? (nothing to put in here)

white #76 (fuel pump)

??? see q below!

blue #112 (rev counter)

red #74a (K Light)

blue #46 (starter)

 

im going to try and find out where the red un numbered one comes from off the car loom - im hoping this is wire number 30? as its right next to 30A and 30B and is the only one left unaccounted for!

 

my 4 questions are:

 

1.

10 pin plug

from the engine loom in positions 5 and 6 ive got wire numbers 7a (red) and JA (brown) where im expecting 47a (red) and 7a (brown) which is what i can match them into from the fusebox loom - these are just loose wires in the engine bay not connected to anything at the mo - is there any harm in relabelling JA to what it should be (47A) and plumbing it into the expected place? what is wire JA actually supposed to do anyways?

 

2.

6pin plug, no 1 Coolant fluid level (wire 47b) - do i need anything in this pin please? i think its a hase 2 thing - can anyone confirm?

 

no: 3 Coolant fluid level/earth - Ive written on my notes that I should pull the wire from fusebox position L1 which is an M wire, L2 is M47B, however I have an earth wire M3 coming from fusebox position F3 hanging loose without a home - can i use this instead? or would that cause smoke

 

 

3.

i need the female multi plugs to put my fusebox loom into - ive put a thread up in wanted but where can i get new pins to go in them from please?

 

4.

finally where do i stick the following please on an 8v 1.9 engine please

in the engine bay ive just got lots of loose wires labelled with numbers:

 

purple 30 - oil pressure warning light

white 30a oil temp gauge

red 7a (alternator charge lamp - which bit of the alternator does this connect to please?)

brown JA (going to relabel as 47a coolant temp gauge)

yellow 47 coolant temp warning light

grey 30b oil pressure gauge

blue 46b starter (does it go on the thread as a ring or on the spade?)

brown 52 & purple 53 reverse switch - where does this plug into?

theres a 2 pin switch on top/front the gearbox
