8v Thermostat Cap

Im having a lot hassle finding one of these for my gti6 conversion in my 205! im using the thermostat adaptor plate from bbm so its easier connecting up my radiator top hose to the thermostat and my thermostat cap broke into bits when i tried removing it from my 8v 1.9 gti engine! any ideas folks ive been trawling ebay etc but cant seem to find anything!

im desperate lol im offshore just now and need this part for when i get home next week to finish my gti6 conversion! if you have one il take it!

I guess you had the plastic one? These don't fit the adaptors anyway as the dia is larger than the Alloy one which you will need
