Miami Blue Paint Shades

thinking of buying a bonnet and door off ebay in original paint but mine isnt original and wondering if theyd match or is there lots of different shades

If yours isn't a original, you haven't got a hope in hell.

 

Generally, there's one for upto 1990 (Ph1.5) cars, and another for the later cars.

Theres probably 2 or 3 'Variants' which on average is the case with most colours. I can check for you on wednesday (Based on the ICI range).

 

Either way its going to be a gamble. Depends on how your car and the bonnet in question have been exposed to the sun/repaired/neglected etc..

I looked for second hand parts for my original Miami and gave up in the end so I think you'll struggle TBH.

I think they'll be more in ICI to be honest, there are 8 shades in Glasurit and 6 in Dupont at my work! (i assume you're talking about ICI Aquabase not the no longer avaiable solvent)

Yeah waterbased.

 

Theres only 2 Alpine whites in ICI HighSolids, hence my guesstimation.
