Grey Rear Bumper

Ive recently replaced my front bumper and all side trims with new genuine peugeot grey phase 1.5 trim.

 

Ordered the rear bumper the other day, it came and was phase 2 black. Peugeot are going to keep it but they say the part number is the only one that they list.

 

So i cant get a genuine one.

 

Rung AutoFive as they list an OE spec rear bumper on there website. The bloke there knows my situation and is going to phone me back.

 

Does anyone know of any other suppliers of quality built and the colour matched grey bumpers?

Neat Autos might be worth a try but I've just checked on service box for the pre & post 1991 cars & it does only list the one number; 7410 99.

Ive just left a post on PSOOC.

 

Looked on Pug Spares no bumpers listed.

 

Neat autos list a rear bumper, no indication of colour and it only cost £33. seems a little cheap. Will have to contact them to find out more.

 

Looks like this maybe a mission.

Try Peugeotparts.co.uk mate, he may have a new old stock one .Obviously you'd need a good courier but Dean will see to that, he will physically check the colour for you and he knows Peugeots inside out.

Right I've spoken to Dean at Peugeot parts as they had one listed on there stock list. He looked this morning and its a black phase 2 bumper.

 

Spoken to Auto five as the website shows that they do the grey OEM rear bumper.

 

They have been in touch with there supplier who doesn't have OEM ones left only a pattern grey bumper in stock. Which they are going to send to Auto five to look at before getting back in touch with me next wednesday. Fingers cross its a good quality one!

 

Looks like there aren't any genuine peugeot phase 1 rear bumpers anymore! only pattern ones.

I have a new grey bumper somewhere in my lock up garage. I can remember that it is packaged with genuine Peugeot stickers on the outside, does this mean it is a genuine part? It came with a cardboard box about the size of Sussex that contains the new red insert.

 

The next time I am over there (next week) I can dig it out and take a look.

Only the rear has two holes for the number plate lights.

Bumper was BLACK to start off with.
