Anthony 1,002 Posted March 30, 2010 Offset due to the hub differences. Same diameter and thickness.
steble 1 Posted March 30, 2010 Offset due to the hub differences. Same diameter and thickness. i noticed they were the same size which is what confused me so 1.9 are no better than 1.6 brakes then, discs just seem to be cheaper for 1.9's
welshpug 1,645 Posted March 30, 2010 1.9 discs are cheaper as they are more widely used, every saxo/106 with vented brakes use the same ones, as do most 1.9 TD and all 1.6 306's (as well as xsara's and zx's) the 1.6 205 vented disc afaik was only used on the 1.6 and some diesel models, as well as the Visa GTI
pug_ham 243 3 Cars Posted March 30, 2010 the 1.6 205 vented disc afaik was only used on the 1.6 and some diesel models, as well as the Visa GTI The 1.6 GTI disc was never used on any other 205 except the proper euro Rallye as standard but was fitted to the 1.6, n/a D & TD 309's according to Brakeworld RS8509 but service box only lists them for the 1.6 GTI, showing all 309's with vented discs to use the girling calipers & 1.9 disc.
