Fast Indicators

Recommended Posts

I have an intermittent right hand turn indicator which flashes really fast when it is put on. It does seem to be getting worse, and today it did it at every right hand turn. The left hand side is fine. I have changed the hazard switch but no difference

Any ideas?

Thanks.

When your indicator flashes fast it means there's a fault, like a bulb out, a bad connection, a broken wire or a bad earth.

It will flash fast on the side with the fault, the will be 1 of three bulbs not workin (or more) look there for the faults.

Hope u cure it soon. Does my nut right in lol

a bulb has gone I reckon or just the connection needs a jolt, Sit there with the indicator going and have a walk around the car, it'll soon show which one has gone.

yup, bulb out i'd say. either front or back as the 1s in the wing wont make a difference. should be an easy fix

How much of an idiot do I feel. Should have done a search I guess, sorry. It was the connection in the front wing, one of the pins had been bent back.

Thanks.

If its intermittent I'd imagine its a connection fault in the bulb holder, take the bulbs out, clean the fur and crap from the contacts and jobs a goodun!
