This looks like a really expensive way to do it to me. Can't you just buy some heatproof (VHT) paint from a motor factors and do it that way? I used halfords radiator enamel paint when I done some of mine

I used a tin of red Hammerite paint from either Halfords or B&Q when I did my 206 calipers, turned out pretty good too.

The halfords engine enamel tins are suprisingly good, I did my engine & calipers with it, it comes in a tin to be brushed on but you can thin it with white spirit and spray it. Gives a nice fishish too

I used halford stuff it came out more pink colured than red rubbish. I was given one they sell on ebay as a kit it comes with a can of cleaner and paint hardener I think its german and it works well stayed on better than other ones i have had powder coated.

Hammerite did the job for me.

I've also used the Halfords brush on stuff, but then I did them black so no colour issues for me. Seems to have survived OK.

I've not had any issues either and I used the red.

I have gone for the hammered gunmetal silver look. Thinning Hammerite down a bit gives a much better finish
