205 Xs Alternator

I'm after an alternator for my XS.

 

It's a road rally spec car, but I'm unsure what size alternator I need.

 

The one on the car is currently a standard one, but after a run in it last night, I'm getting a faint battery warning light, so I'm guessing it's on the way out!

 

I'm running standard wattage Osram Nightbreaker headlamp bulbs, with two Cibie Super Oscars, with 100watt bulb in each lamp.

 

What amp alternator would suit the car best?

Can't recommend an ampage but when I had the battery warning light on my Xs, I just went to the scrapyard and picked up an alternator from a newer looking Tu engine with the same terminals for £10 (might have been a 106), fitted it and its been great ever since!

i got mine off a 306 and it works fine, its no longer a valeo but a magneti mareli for PSA cars.
