I don't know the in's and out's of insurance. Any advice would be welcome.

I think once its been given a Category it stays on file for ever more! Shame about Flux though but stay with who you know as at least they have the history etc.

As said once they get a category its stays with the car for life, you can how ever get it inspected and after this if the repair is to a good standard it will show up as damaged but inspected when a HPI check is done but the inspections are not cheap.

That sounds too good to be true, keep us posted as insurance companies have a history of shafting people and getting their cash back eventually.

 

 

Insurance sorted at last, the premium has gone up slightly (£70), partly due to the agreed value has gone up to £3500.

I collect the car this afternoon from Carl.

Had a quick look at you 205 last night Jonny. It's bloody red, I can't believe how good it looks. Definatly worth the 3500 agreed value. One thing is for sure though I'm not parking next to you anymore. How was the first drive in it?

I must say a big thank you to Carl Chambers (GKZ 206) who has done a fantastic job, nice touches such as removal of the aerial hole and passenger door lock all work really well. Seb is right, it is very cherry red.

The pictures don't do it justice, when you see it in the flesh it really is a mint 205 now. The combination of the interior work you have done and the respray are a real credit to you and Carl.
