Difference In Trailing Arms

Is there a difference between trailing arms from a standard beam and a GTi beam in terms of camber? I have an old 1.1 beam I'm planning on using to replace the existing one in my GTi due to pin issues

Personally I'd swap them over as a pair so that you've definately got a matched pair of arms.

there is a difference from base model and gti (i think it's just cast construction)

 

but as anthony says, if you swap them as a pair you shouldn't have any problems

there's potentially quite a big difference in toe and camber

obviously the biggest differences are by using the xsara, zx and gti6 arms

 

would be hardly noticeable when using base model arms for a gti beam

I'd go so far as to say that the difference between the 205 base and GTI arms would not be noticeable. You may just about be able to detect it with tracking gauges.
