hexhamstu 9 Posted March 23, 2010 (edited) So I've bought some backing plates for the 2 lap belt points. Can i just put the one coming off the back into the socket for the back middle seat lap belt, by putting the end of the seat belt onto the harness? Anyone done something like this, basically I want the harness to be easily removable, I guess it just clips onto the eye bolts, which is quick enough. Where have people positioned this eye bolt? Baz 421 Posted March 23, 2010 Eyebolts can go into the standard seatbelt fitting holes, belt rail at the sill, and where the rear seatbelts go under the rear seat/rear side panel. You may want to drill a hole in the exhaust tunnel for the LHS lap belt though.

Baz 421 Posted March 23, 2010 So? You can do, just replace the current bolts with the eye-bolts.

Silky 33 1 Cars Posted March 25, 2010 What are the best eyebolts to use Baz ? I've got to mount my harnesses soon so need to buy some. Do they just screw/bolt in, or do you weld them in ?
