306 Gti-6

Just got one and need to track down cooling fans and a rad.

 

Anyone know if they are the same across whole 306 range? Or is there a specific setup for the 306 GTI-6?

It will need twin cooling fans, you can get these from the HDI or XSI 16v

 

As for the rad, think they are GTI6 specific

yup, cooling fans IIRC can come from a Xsara as well, has to be an a/c car though, rad is specific to the gti6, though the xsi one can be used if you don't intend on keeping the heat exchanger.

Cheers for the replies, so any twin cooling fans off either a HDI or XSI 16v will be fine.

 

What is a heat exchanger? is that the little rad in front of the main one? take it thats for the aircon?

first one looks to be correct though can't be 100%

 

second one is off a non-a/c car, you can see the blue 3 pin plug, you don't want one that has this plug for a gti6.

 

the xsara one may be correct, wiring should be as its off an a/c model, which afaik plugs straight in.
