Mine doesn't either.

The routine goes as follows.

1. Open Door

2. Fold myself into the Sparco Pro ADV bucket seat over the doorbar whilst repeatedly banging my head on the cage.

3. Commence strapping in

4. Finish strapping in.

5. Realise that once strapped in I can't reach far enogh out of the car to grab the door and close it.

6. Shout at nearest person to shut door for me!

7. Watch as the mirror adjuster in the car hits the padding on the cage and moves so I can see either sky or myself

8. Adjust mirror to suit

9. Drive some miles

10. Get out and close door

11. Return to step 1.

I have thought about"modifying the adjuster in the car , but haven't been bothered just yet. I'll wait until it really starts to piss me off before doing anything about it.

It seems to be a bit hit and miss. Some cars/cages they will JUST clear, others don't.

Well it's a weld-in cage and there aren't any gaps or tubes floating in space so I guess so!

On a OMP cage early mk1 mirrors with the little button style adjusters fit fine, the normal 205 mirrors need the lever cuttong off to fit.

Ph1 with SD C12 Cage = fine.

Ph1.5 with SD C44 Cage = Fail, adjusters are cut off.

Ph1.5 with Custom Cages Cage = fine, iirc, it's been a while!
