DRTDVL 4 1 Cars Posted March 17, 2010 Does anyone know what the line pressures should be around for the rear wheels? I'm get 20 psi at the end of the line (basically at the caliper) but the hydraulic handbrake will not lock the rear wheels. It's using a 5/8's master
welshpug 1,645 Posted March 17, 2010 got the lines the right way on the handbrake cylinder? where is your rear brake pressure limiter if you have one?
DRTDVL 4 1 Cars Posted March 17, 2010 From memory the line from the front master is at the front of the cylinder (closest to the leaver) and the rear brake line is at the rear of the master. I've got a wilwood bias valve before the handbrake.
welshpug 1,645 Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) for most handbrake cylinders that's plumbed the wrong way round Edited March 17, 2010 by welshpug
DRTDVL 4 1 Cars Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) Thats all good i have no idea about that... I didn't install the handbrake, it was the previous owner that did. I've just called the workshop thats got the car at the moment and i do have it setup correctly with the line from the front going to the rear port and the line to the rear brakes going exiting from the front port, just my memory failed me on that one.
