Probably a repost but just wondering what tyres people tend to run when purely on track???

 

I am going R888's but I can decide on sizes and wondering if anyone can help?

I've got some new and part worn A048s in a 14" currently for sale

 

6 part worn A048s all with 4 rims

2 new a048s on the refurbed rims

 

£250, collection only from Essex

 

If using 14" then generally 185/60/14

 

If using 15", then generally 195/50/15

Do a search. Theres some topics that are 15+ pages long discussing tyres on here. Try 195/50 if you're using 15" wheels.

195/50/15 are going to be cheapest, as there are plenty available

 

other than used, the Toyos are probably going to be your cheapest track tyre. lots of people prefer road tyres, as they're more fun and don't cost anywhere near as much to run

These are my current wheels I have on the car, TBH I have never seen them before as I am more familiar with the GTI wheels.

 

They are 14" so I guess I'll run a 185??

Looks like early 14" Pug 405 Mi16 rims.

 

Will actually be wrong offset for a 205 too.
