Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauage

hi all, looking to fit a mechanical oil pressure gauage. can anyone show me some pics where they've located theres and how they fitted it. also any recomended gauges? thanks

I've got a Carebont gauge in mine which is a good choice. Racetech and Mocal are a bit cheap and nasty and Stack gauges are overpriced for what you get in my oppinion.

I've got an Autogauge pro-comp mechanical in mine. Mounted in a LMA pod where the coin tray sits. Will post a pic for you tomorrow.

Do you need an adaptor or does the 1/8th fitting that come's with the gauge's do the job?

 

It's for a 1.9, 8 valve.

I've fitted an imperial thread adaptor tee in the block for mine. Comes with a M16X1.5 male and female (existing pressure switch into the female) and a second female for the 1/8" npt pipe union to the gauge. Not 100% sure which thread the 8v block is though.

Thats also an ideal position for a rev counter. I put mine there when the pug ones would'nt work.
