Rr Results For Xu10j2 In 205.

Well finally I got my 205 on a set of rollers to see what the XU10J2 lump from a 306 XSi can produce, it is quoted as having 123 bhp.

 

Standard 1.9 management, Piper 270 cam, 1.9 inlet manifold matched to ported and polished head, standard exhaust manifold, Magnex back box.

Well after much speculation, it produced 141.8 bhp (measured) with 114 lbs/ft.

I must admit, I am rather happy!

not bad at all, torques a bit low but I guess that may be the combination of the cam and a standard engine, and a different RR.

 

what's the quoted torque for this engine?

130 ish I think.
