was looking on rally design at the kit for the 1.6 gti would i have to put a 1.6 gti master cylinder on my 205 rallye to get the full benefit or would the rallye one be fine??

1.6 gti kit will have the wrong offset disc, you need to use the 1.9 kit if you still have the Rallye hubs afaik

 

as for the master cylinder that depends on the size of the pistons as well as personal preference to pedal feel.
