What Gear Box Do I Need?

Iv jus bought a 205 its had what i belive to be a 306 1.6 tu engine fitted and the gearbox may be stuffed so what will be the best box to use?

i didnt mean to post it in the wrong section.

il be "road rallying it"

i mean some thing sounds rough, it could be the clutch as it stops when the clith is opend, but i have a fealing its a bearing of something.

nick if you are using it for rally's then it may be worth doing a BE gearbox conversion as they tend to take more punishment. if you do a search it will tell you how to carry it out.

Its his first 205 and i recommended this forum as a friendly and helpful place to come for advice

 

Being new to 205s the XU/TU thing may be a little confusing!

 

Its posts like yours that put people off other forums, lets not scare people, holding genuine interest, off this one
