Not Always Starting

Odd one for me today the car has not had any issue starting but for some reason today it started to play up kind of....

 

I got in and went to start it and turned the key all the lights came on but nothing happened and again for about 3 attempts then it started like normal. It has done this a couple of times today, but yet went to the shop 5 mins ago and there was no issue?

 

could it be the starter motor solenoid? not sure really
