Recommended Posts

wonder if anyone could help....

when i get to about 50 i have a slight judder, through the steering, itried to drive through it when i do 60 its undrivable, i have had the balancin, wish bones, and tracking sorted, but still there is a major problem, i am having the shafts changed tomorrow, 55 brand new for the pair is worth a pop, good old staff discount, but if this doesnt work i am at bit of a loss.

i have tried 2 sets of wheels and still the same

Is it much worse under acceleration, but eases up some what on cruise? If so, sounds like it might be one of the inner CV joints that has failed - they tend to cause major vibration and shaking that's worse under load/acceleration.

yeah, does seem a little more aggressive under acceleration, not much worse, jus a little, but i've spoke to a few of my customers seem to think it could be that, but we'll find out tomorrow

If its not just under acceleration/turning i would suggest it could be a bent or unbalanced wheel too.
