Have a PAS rack from a ZX 16v and just want to know if it will fit?

 

If so, what is needed to remove the power assistance so that it just becomes manual?

I have never tried it, but I would hazard a guess that it would need similar modifications to a Xsara rack - ie track rods replaced and modifications to the lower column/UJ. There's a thread running currently about it, started by Kyepan.
