Throttle Cable...

Recommended Posts

Got myself a Citroen/Peugeot universal throttle cable on Saturday for the '6 conversion, i took this pic on how i am going to install it (from pics when i took the car apart and what i can remember). Just wondering if someone could tell me if its correct?

White bit (connects to pedal) - bulkhead - gromit - small black cylinder thing - cable sheath - throttle body

Is that the right order to connect it up or have i missed something? I have lots of bits left over in the kit but i assume there will be as its universal for Citroen/Pug? Also what is the smal black cylinder bit for? Feels like its sprung loaded?

Thanks :)

From your pic and description looks and sounds about right to me!

The cylinder bit is just the back end of where it comes off the bulkhead to hold it straight i should imagine, they're all like that.
