If you missed out the bearing then I feel sorry for you as you'll be kicking yourself when pulling it back apart.... lol.

cheer meirion :lol: ive taken the gearbox off tonight - and no clutch release bearing in there at all! grrrr!! my own fault should have double checked just assumed it would be in there :lol:

how do u tell the difference between BE1 and BE3 ones? im guessing this is a BE1? but cant see how they stay on? ^_^

theres little clips on it but they just sit on the clutch arm/fork so can fall off when fitting

unless you have swapped the release arm for a be3 item kate, i am sure you have a be3 box :)

tiz a be3 box :) wasnt sure what the clutch release bearing was - found it in a corner lol :P

 

got a new be3 release bearing being posted now (thanks silky!) so hopefully should fit on ok and all work finally lol! im assuming they only fit on one way :P

took a pic of the 2 bearings so can see the diff now :D

the be3 clutch release bearing i have now has a broken clip on one side thou - is this ok to use still or will it cause me problems?? ive taken this gearbox on and off 3 times so far on my own, if i fit this and i gotta take it off again im gonna screeaaaaaammm!! :) so just want to make sure! ;)
