hi, anyone know if these are still available from peugeot. Need a few 3,6 mm and 3,5 mm, unless anyone here has any lieing around they want a beer token for? Cheers

Should be however was told once at my PSA dealer that they can't be bought by one piece each in different dimension , rather than min. 5 pieces of each i.e. 5 of the same dimension

 

Anyway , i have practice swapping them for new ones @ my local Peugeot garage try if you have friendly PSA garege nearby (of course , Citroen will do as well ..) , ask kindly pop them a few quid for a beer and it should work

I'm pretty sure they are still available mate, mine came as a pack of two last time I picked them up fairly recently.

They were used in the XUD engines, so they were still in production a long time after the last 8 valve XU rolled off the production line, which was late 90's.

Those are hefty old shims!

 

Is it a reprofiled cam? If not I'd suspect its well worn, if not worn out.
