205 Gti-6 ?

Recommended Posts

will.m
The service manager at a certain Peugeot dealer told me it was impossible to fit any 16v Xu engine in a 205, otherwise Peugeot would have done it.

Ask him how they made the Gutmann 205

I wish my 205 had vtec then it would be SO FAST

Wow! A triple whammy.

'lol', 'haha' and 'lmao' all in the same sentance.

Fight it people, fight it!

An Mi16 won't fit, but an S16 will. A V6 is tiny in comparison although the 406 V8 will go in at a squeeze, although you have to ditch the 5WD system.

406 V8???

It's not that we don't understand, just that we shouldn't have to see it.

This forum has always maintained a high standard in both technical knowledge and use of the English language.

There are also many younger users that have some cracking input, conversely some older users who type like a 10 year old would text.

My opinion (like many others on here) is that we'd rather not have those people on here.

Jesus, you want to chill out mate, this forum is for help/advice/meeting new people and sharing what each other knows etc!!! i didn't join this for people to have a go at my poor english! at the end of the day, everyone understands what the shortened words mean, its not like im writing in welsh is it, life is moving on now and you will have to face it that this is the way kids and adults write messages now. i wont do it now cause the last thing i want to do is make someone cry

In a serious thread perhaps fair comment?

But in one that has maybe 2 serious answers in 4 pages, surrounded with a hoard of bull s*it, do a few bits of abbreviated crap REALLY matter? I'd suggest not.

1. sentance

The improper spelling of sentence by a high strung person, normally a Republican.

Shouldn't spelling 'sentence' correctly be more of a priority to you?

you get this on a lot of forums. the old timers go through a phase of, being nice and helping people, to seeing the same old posts again and again, to seeing people that can't string a sentence together and cannot use a search button.

so the options are,

1. be nice (usually followed up by more stupid questions and the internal thoughts of 'is this person an idiot?')

2. tell them to use the search button (usually followed up by 'i did but couldn't find anything')

3. Rip into them and have a laugh at their expense (hoping that the take the hint and either go away or learn to spell and do research)

3 is the most fun.

I mean 1 & 2..... I hit new posts and on the first page of threads there are many many post on it.

As far as i know you can yes but as other people have said you need a flux capacitor (be aware that if you do this going over 88MPH will cause the onset of "epic adventure")

If you cant find a flux capacitor you can make one with some flux a capacitor and some sticky back plastic

so a worth while conversion then

i only ask as to be honest ive always been into my fords cozzys, rs turbos,mk2 escorts ect and bought the 205 to run about in til i can afford another ford after seeing some vids on youtube the little 205s look like they go well with mi16 or gti-6 lumps in and might be worth doing that instead of selling up to buy a rs turbo.

Xsara 2.0 VTS is where's its at, it will fit far better than the V8 as mentioned before, although iv not seen a V8 in a 205 before, its a new one to me.

The best idea i can give you is to search, research, read, then after all that most threads wont be needed and you wont get much flak from other members when you write a good thread.

The projects forum is a good read, check it out.

The 205 is more than just a car, its an experience.

Oh George!

The post I made about the V8 was complete nonsense. For example an Mi16 and S16 both fit, as they're almost identical.

These are a good mod...

Shiptech4.jpg

There are plenty of out-of-service naval vessels these days, and although some modifications may be required to fit the 10350bhp engines can return an impressive 6bhp/ton.

My cousins nextdoor neighbours babysitters nephew fitted one of these engines in his Nova, all he had to do to fit it was buy one of those 99p "chips" off eBay!

Now that you mention it i'm sure someone on here used to have one of these fitted to a 205:

The best mod is the China plated shells. It involves inserting a chinese man into the block and makes unknown super powerisms.
