Looks great for the money, Inner wings look clean as a whistle as well (usual rust spot). Get some rallye steels or the Citroen C5 steels (Alloys that look like steel wheels) if your feeling flush. And it will be top notch! love it!

Oh and maybe some of those moulded arches that sell on ebay, preferably in black.

Wicked, welcome to the fold :o

That bad boy is screaming out for a machine polish and some 1.6 GTI rims though (1.6 wheels go for peanuts on here mate, keep an eye out. We are talking like £40 so cheap cheap <_< )

I have four 1.6 GTI pepper pots you can have for £95 delivered, and the tyres are half decent too.

Welcome to 'the club'.

It should be an injection model with a reg no like that! <_<

Looks a tidy thing, the only thing i'm not keen on is the aftermarket sunroof, but its certainly a lot better than some of the ones you looked at.

Welcome! Well done on picking up a fantastic car! My first 205 was an XS, I owned that for just under a year before I got bitten by the GTi bug!! It never usually takes long! :)

No, davey sprocket was saying it should be running injection rather than a carb.

It won't be injected if it's a standard XS, it'll be the twin choke solex carb, I quite liked the occasional quirkiness of it personally, although I know the solex isn't very highly rated on here by some!
