Funny Indicator Problem

Here is a weird one.

 

My Nearside indicator is stuck on, no flashing, just all three on the nearside lamps are on constantly, regardless of the position of the switch or indeed, the ignition!

 

Any ideas folks before I start pulling things to bits??

Hazzard switch playing up I'd guess

Is there a relay for the left and right turn if so suonds like the relay is stuck in the on position,

i pulled the battery terminakl and left it for a couple of hours and it is ok now!

 

obviously i would like to get to the bottom of it though!

Next time it happens remove your hazzard switch. Both of your indicators go through this and I belive there is also a perminant positive at the hazzard switch.

my guess would be a contact in the relay (what large said!), have a look in the relay. or a dare i say it- a wiring fault! (earthing of the indicator circuit)
