Exhaust Help Needed

Im trying to find a four branch manifold for my 1.9gti. Nobody seems to have them. What make should I be looking for? Where can I get one?

Also has anyone got an Ashley exhaust? Demon Tweeks quoted me £198 for one which is favourable over the £312 they wanted for a piper system. But are they any good? Ive never heard of them.

what is the spec of your engine? because the standard manifold and original phase 2 downpipe is sufficient for a standard engine.

 

other than that a Magnex 4-1 is a common item to be used, after that you're onto the Maniflow or similar specially made manifolds that you will benefit from having made to suit your engine if its a special build.

Its standard at the moment and will be staying that way for a while. Thats ok then I will go for a standard manifold. Thanks!

Agree with Welshpug - the standard manifold is fine for anything other than highly modified engines. It was one of the reasons why 205 set the new standards for 'hot hatch' performance when it was first produced.
