Brake Balance

Hi, My standard 1.6 GTi has been in storage for the past couple of months. I jumped into it the other day, started up fine but pressed the brake pedal and it seems that only the rears are working (much like yanking on the handbrake!) I.e all of the braking force is from the rear brakes.

 

Any ideas what is going on? MC? Or the brake compensator that the 1.6’s have? Anyone had similar problem?

Sliders are probably seized, whip the calipers off and have a look.
