Brake And Fuel Pipe

Recommended Posts

gerallt_p

Im looking to put my brake and fuel lines inside the car and wondering where's the best place buy the piping, from a search I've found that a copper nickel

pipe of 3/16" will be what i need? VWP is the only site im considering at the moment but was wondering if anyone on here could recomend anywhere else for

comparison  . The lines dont seem to be the same size, I presume the fuel line is of a larger diameter?

The car is a 205 xs running on twin carbs.

Many thanks

Gerallt

any motorfactor can supply what you need for very little, not sure on the cost of Cupronickel pipe but I re-piped most of my ZX for less than a tenner in a full roll of Copper pipe and 12 unions, still had some spare pipe

fuel line is indeed larger diameter, 8mm IIRC.

Making brake pipes goes one of two ways, either very infuriating or very therapeutic (guess what i am up to today :) )
