Urgent Help Required Please - Ecu Temp Sensor

Brief history :-

 

1992, 1.9 205 (non cat) failed its MOT week before last on various easily sorted stuff and the not so easily sorted high emissions of 4.2%. With the help of this forum I have traced it to a faulty ECU temp sensor :-).

Again with the forums help I ordered on line a new one from GSF on Thursday, part number B93490, as all of the local motor factors couldn't be sure which one I needed. The local main dealer was also worse than useless. I expected the part to be here by the weekend but no sign, the car is booked in for a re-test on Tuesday (last day of the 10 day re-test period) so if it doesn't arrive tomorrow I am going to have to trawl round the motor factors to try and find one. Problem is they don't know what I need.

The GSF and main dealer part numbers mean nothing to them, I had the part out this afternoon and it has no visible numbers or markings on it, not even a manufacturer, though I assume its Bosch??.

Does anyone have a generic/manufactures part number that I could give to them or another car its in to help trace the right bit and hopefully find one in stock.

Thats a handy pic WelshPug. I think Ill change mine now I know the part needed, just as a piece of mind thing than anything else
