1.9 Discs On 1.6 Beam

hi guys and gals, iv been offered a good 1.6 beam and as i cant afford to buy one im thinking of having it

for the time being, problem is it needs new brakes, so i was wondering what it would take to fit my disk set up

onto the 1.6 beam?

if you like a decent handbrake leave it as drums and get some new cables shoes and wheel cylinders.

 

if you really want discs then you need to swap the stub axles brake calliper brackets and wheel bearings/hubs over.
