Using 306 Rear Shocks

Recommended Posts

Rolando

i was in my local scrapyard yesterday and found a set of G-MAX rear shocks on a 306. i know G-MAX arent rated very well but only using them a little while till i sort out what set up i want.

how ever when i fitted them i noticed that they are alot longer than my original 205 rear shocks. so i'm wondering now, will they be ok to use?

heres a picture.

thanks Ro

When I got my 306 hdi it had a set of Monroe rear shocks on which are massive compared to the 306 GTI ones I fitted when I lowered it.

TBH I don't know if the Monore ones I took off would fit now its been lowered ~30mm.

Graham.

it would confirm whether they are indeed shorter than the GMAX ones, as by marked, I mean what's on the ruddy sticker :):)

I really wouldn't use the GMAX ones, I found them bloody horrible to be honest!
