Recommended Posts

Hi, have a peugeot 205 1.9 with a gti 6 engine in it. I have been told by others on here that i may need a coolant temperature sensor. Once i started looking for this part, people have told me there is a few variations of this part. Can anyone tell me which one i need, or how i can tell which one i need? Thanks alot people :D

Is it the ECU temp sender or the dash display sensor?

If it's the ECU temp sender (the brown one i beleive) service box list only one option 1338 55 @ £31.76

Green, brown one is the Bitron sensor iirc for the aircon iirc & not used on the 205.

Usually the loom plugs are the same colour as the sensor they fit (& also keyed so you can't normally cross connect them).

green-ecu , brown-dash display, blue-aircond

No! brown is for Bitron A/C and Fan control unit, blue for the dash.
